WE ARE STILL SOVEREIGN

I am happy with the result of the election. The victorious candidate is Noynoy Aquino whom people never axpected to run for president. At least we cannot consider him as Trapo or Traditional Politician. He was not among the known scammers in Philippine politics. He was quiet and on the sidelines during his term as a senator. He did not join in the scramble for the 'juicy bones'. I like him. Even the way he speaks. But we have yet to see how he performs in office. I don't expect him to make everything perfect for us as a nation but I expect him to cater to the needs of the majority and not to the few. They are the ones who need the doctor. The few privileged ones would be better off not hindering him and instead help our president do his role better and show to the world that we are still a sovereign and democratic country.
